From Digital Tipping Point Wiki
Welcome to our Help Page
Thanks for coming to our help pages. This page will give you a few basic tips on using our wiki site, but mostly it will send you to other pages to find the answers to questions that you have.
I am having problems using your wiki. Where can I get help?
Our wiki software is the same software that Wikipedia uses. They have a really massive, really excellent tutorial page that will answer most of the questions that you might have, and that page is located here:

That Wikipedia page is too complicated. Is there anyone I can talk to for help?
Yes! We realize that our wiki software is really a bit tricky if you are just starting out. In fact, it is so tricky that it is hard to even use the wiki software to ask questions about how to use the wiki software!! For that reason, we have created a separate section of our DTP forum for people to ask questions, because that forum is much, much easier to use. You can find that forum here:

I don't mind your wiki software, in fact I prefer it. Do you have a wiki page for discussions?
Yes. If you want to talk about this help page, you can just click on the discussion tab above. Or, you can go to our wiki Wiki Community Help page, which is a page for discussions specifically about how to use this wiki; or you can go to our Wiki Coffee House page, which is a place that is just open to the public to discuss anything at all.
I don't want to participate in your project. I just want to watch your video. Where is it?
We're pleased to simply share our video with you. You can find it on the Internet Archive's Digital Tipping Point Video Collection.
How do I know what is coming next in the DTP project? Where is your roadmap?
Wow. Good question. Where is our roadmap? Our project lead, Christian Einfeldt (me, the guy who maintains this page) has never run an open source project before. I'm not a software developer, I'm a lawyer who uses free open source software in his law practice, and I thought that free open source software was so cool, I just had to tell other people about it. So I started to make this movie. I have researched a bit, but I have not found any good software or tutorials on creating a roadmap, so if you have an idea how to create a roadmap, please, go to our DTP Roadmap Forum or to our Wiki Roadmap Forum. Thanks!
I'm a new Linux user. Where can I get help to do some basic stuff with Linux and open source software?
Oh, lots of places. In fact, we have created some help pages for our own community members at our DTP How-to pages and at our DTP Open Forum. We also have a list of links here in our DTP Links page of helpful external links.
