IBM announced plans this week to begin selling GNU-Linux computers to businesses. It will call the computers the "Open Collaboration Client". And rather than sell Microsoft Office, IBM will package OpenOffice.org, a Free Open Source Software alternative to Microsoft Office which can read Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.
